We campaign, support and fund research to stop people dying of bowel cancer

Story

On the 16th July 2010 10 of us are going to climb the National 3 Peaks in 24 hours (Ben Nevis, Scaffel Pike and Mount Snowdon). We are doing this to raise money for bowel cancer UK as in August 2009 my mother was diagnosed with primary bowel cancer and secondary liver cancer with a prognosis of 6-12 months.  This is one of the hardest things I have ever had to face and going through this experience made me want to do something to help others in my position, which is how the idea of the 3 peaks challenge came about. Due to a deterioration in her condition my mother died on the 3rd February at 7:25am with me by her side .Yasmin was, and always will be a mother to 3 of us (aged 28, 24 and 10) and with my Dad has spent all her years caring for not only us but for many others in her career as a nurse. So I am asking if you will make a donation to our page and show your support as so many families are affected by bowel cancer.
