3 PEAKS CYCLE CLIMB COMPLETED!

RAISED WELL OVER £7000 (PLUS GIFT AID!)

THANK YOU TO ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT.

Ben, Stuart, Claire & Jenny

Ben & Stu's 3 Peaks Cycle Climb

In memory of Sue and in aid of Beaumond House we will be taking on the challenge of the 3 Peaks.  However, this will not be any ordinary 3 Peaks Challenge since we will also be cycling 500 miles between Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon.

In 2008 Sue was diagnosed, at the age of 52, with terminal cancer and given less than a year to live.  She bravely fought the illness at home for just under a year before seriously deteriorating and needing professional care.

She spent 10 nights in Beaumond House who did a fantastic job in caring for her in the last few days of her life She passed away peacefully on Sunday 8th March 2009.

Beaumond House is a Community Hospice based in Newark and provides care and support to patients with terminal illnesses at no cost to patients or their families.

To provide care and support to patients and their families, Beaumond House requires over £700,000 every year with 75% (around £500,000) from the generosity of the general public and local businesses.

Our Challenge

On Saturday 21st May 2011 we will set off up Ben Nevis in Scotland for our first climb.  Over the next 7 days we will be cycling over 500 miles and climbing Scafell Pike in the Lake District, followed by Snowdon in Wales.

The aim is to finish the challenge on Saturday 28th May 2011 when we will cycle to the foot of Snowdon and climb this last Peak.  We are inviting anyone, who wishes to climb Snowdon, to join us on this last stage of the challenge and to give us a push to get to the top!

It is a tough challenge and we hope, with your help, to raise lots of money for this fantastic cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
