Cardiac Risk in the Young Verified by JustGiving
RCN 1050845 (England & Wales), SC052581 (Scotland)
Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by young sudden cardiac death (YSCD). We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.

Story

Team - Rugby Ramblers

Charles Carver (SH), Chris Currell (SH), Mike Firth (W), Dave Firth (W), Hugh Gardner (SH), James Litchfield (SF), Andrew Skipper (SH) - and as drivers, Bill O'Loughlin and (if available) Dai Newington (SH)

Thank you for visiting the Rugby Ramblers fundraising page. We share a friendship with Rupert, Stephanie and their family (click on weblink below for more details), which stems from our schooldays. We are supporting them so other families may hopefully be spared the grief which they have suffered, and to enable more friendships struck in youth to last until old age or, in our case, with luck, the third peak.

Please be generous and sponsor us online. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us. Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support
