3 Counties-MG ~ End to End Charity Run 1st August 2009
3 Counties MG will be trying to raise as much sponsorship/donations as possible for the Make-A-Wish Foundation in a sponsored drive from John o Groats to Land's End this coming August.
This is no ordinary drive though, 3 MG cars will be taking part, in driving the route together, within 24 Hours. On the second day will we then leave Land's End on route for MG Fest 09 at the Motor Heritage Centre in Gaydon, Warwickshire.
Why the Make-A-Wish Foundation?
Make-A-Wish grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses.
At any given time, over 20,000 children in the UK are living with life-threatening conditions and our aim is to grant 21 wishes a week by the year 2010
Whether a wish is to be a princess or a policeman for a day, own the latest computer equipment, meet a favourite celebrity or just enjoy some special time away from home with their family, a wish come true brings so much to a child's life and provides memories for the family that last a lifetime.
