My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
This page belongs to Elena Gifford, Lauren Zawadzki, Kathryn MacDonald, Lisa Robson, Louise Crabtree, Sophy Vanner, Deborah Owen, Hannah Northey, Melanie Bateson, Kelly Leatham, Holly Nowell, Adele Marshall, Helen Brister and Cathy Bates.

On the 15th July, we as a team of 14 women will each be hiking 26.1 miles around the Coniston Fells and Coniston Old Man including a full circuit of Lake Coniston.

We are supporting the fantastic 3hundredand65 campaign - a graphic novel, created on Twitter, one day at a time, in aid of The Teenage Cancer Trust. One very talented illustrator and an army of tweeters including Stephen Fry, Johnathan Ross, Bill Bailey, Tim Burgess, Ian Rankin, David Baddiel and more, are doing their bit for The Teenage Cancer Trust, so we came up with a 3hundredand65 MILE plan!! One mile for every day of the day of the year, just like the 365 tweets.

Our team of friends, colleagues and yoga buddies have been training together towards our summer challenge which has been designed by Joe Eddleston of Country Adventures http://www.countryadventures.co.uk/

With your help we want to raise awareness for this outstanding project and to add to the 3hundredand65 fundraising total for this worthy charity.

Please help us to support the 3hundredand65 Project by donating to The Teenage Cancer Trust.  Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thank you for taking the time to sponsor our efforts, every penny counts!

Charity Registration No. 1062559

Every day in the UK, six teenagers are diagnosed with cancer. At Teenage Cancer Trust, we understand that cancer doesn’t stop these teenagers being teenagers. We know that young people have a much better chance if they are treated by teenage cancers experts, in an environment tailored to their needs. So we have created specialist units that aren’t like ordinary cancer wards. Everything about them has been designed to give teenagers the very best chance of a positive outcome. And we want every young person with cancer in this country to have that chance.
