We provide hospice care for babies, children and young people living with life-limiting conditions and their families. Hospice stays, emergency care, palliative care and end of life care at 3 children's hospices; Little Bridge House in Devon, Charlton Farm in Somerset and Little Harbour in Cornwall.

Story

Mates since University and now too old to play rugby, we required a stimulus to 'get back into training'.  Over a few too many strong lagers, Jason suggested the 'Ride for Precious Lives' a 240-mile bike ride over 3 days from St Austell to Bristol (2nd - 4th July 2010) and the rest, as they say, is history.

Children’s Hospice South West help and support children and their families who are living with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and are the only organisation in the South West to provide vital hospice care to these families. Some families require palliative care, some for emergency care and many for planned respite and a rare opportunity for a break away.   The services are free to the families because nothing should get in the way of very sick children receiving the very best care.   With little government funding, they rely on the generosity of supporters to deliver their promise to ‘make the most of short and precious lives’.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, secure and the most efficient way to donate.  We have set ourselves a target of £2,500 to raise and if we (you & us) achieve (and hopefully exceed) this figure,  the 3 Riders will donate a further £1,000 to Ovarian Cancer Action - another charity close to our hearts.

Thank you in advance for your support & generosity.
