My story
Hi to Everyone.....
Back in 2008 Brian did the Manchester to Blackpool bike ride and a lot of people were very generous with their money and we raised just over £1500 for the The Meningitis Trust. (click it, go on...but come back!)
I think that 3 years is a long enough break for you all to have not been pestered for a little bit of cash and this time, I've manged to rope in two friends (fools), Alan and Dave, to make this ride a little more social and hopefully to raise a bit more money than last time.
The ride this time is a lively little jaunt around Chehire - 100km to be exact
Without going into details, The Meningitis Trust is a charity that is very important to my wife Alison and myself and whenever possible, we like to raise a little bit of money for them as well as (and just as importantly) awareness of what they do.

We provide the widest range of free professional services and community based support for people affected by meningitis in the UK. We also raise awareness of the disease and fund research into its long-term impact. Our support is for life and available to anyone affected by the disease.
