Hello! Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you may or may not be aware, I lost my mother to ovarian cancer on 21st July 2009, 14 months after diagnosis. It is my aim to raise lots of money for the Eve Appeal which is a gynaecological cancer research charity. Ovarian cancer is the fourth most common cancer in women in the UK and if found early 7 in 10 people can survive it. However only 1 in 5 cases are diagnosed in this early stage. Unfortunately mum was one of the unlucky ones.

 

3 Peaks Challenge 2009: 12-13 September

Our driver, Sam Jones, will drive the team of 6 walkers to all 3 mountains in our hired MPV.

 

5pm	Start Ben Nevis (1,344 metres)
10pm	Finish Ben Nevis and start drive to Scafell Pike (seven hour drive)
5am	Arrive and start climbing Scafell Pike (978 metres)
10am	Finish Scafell Pike and start drive to Snowdon (three hour drive)
1pm	Arrive and start climbing Snowdon (1,085 metres)
5pm	Finish Snowdon, and complete challenge!on Sunday 13th Sept!
