In January this year our friend Ellie was diagnosed with Leukemia. After the initial shock of finding out, we were delighted to see her fight it so well and get on the road to recovery.
One thing that has undoubtably made things easier for her is the work the Teenage Cancer Trust has done in making her ward so homely for young people - A massive help when you are staying somewhere away from home for weeks at a time, especially when suffering from such a debilitating illness.
We want to help the TCT improve more wards for young people, to make their stays in hospital as comfortable as possible for both them and their families.
To this end ten of us have decided to do a trek across the famous Yorkshire 3 Peaks on April 27th, and would like you to sponsor us!
To make it a bit more of a challenge, and give you an incentive, we have decided that anyone sponsoring £10 or more can nominate an item (that will fit in a large rucksack) for us to carry along with us on the trek (proof will be provided in the form of photographs on the peaks of us with our items).
