IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO DONATE!
We did it! We climbed the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales and all within 24 hours. It was a fantastic experience for all of the team and the months of training and preparation paid off. Sore feet, sprained and bruised ankles and aching limbs tried to deter us, but an overwhelming sense of determination helped us achieve one of our goals.
One of our goals? Yeap, the other is still to raise £2,000 for Velindre! At the time of the challenge we were about half way there, so to those who have already shown their generosity by donating to this cause, you have the team's heartfelt thanks. Well, five people squeezed into a van and did a 1,200 mile road trip, climbed Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon (some 3,400 metres), all within 24 hours with barely a wink of sleep for 36 hours.
