Last year the Meyrick Park gym team conquered BRITAINS 3 HIGHEST PEAKS in 23.5 hours, raising around £10,000 for Youth Cancer Trust.  Exhaustion, muscle burn, blisters, lost toe nails - nothing would stop us to complete this challenge to raise sponsorship for YCT!! This is a very demanding trek involving 11,171 ft of exhausting climbing in 24 hours up 3 MOUNTAINS , - it requires months of planning and physical training....all to raise much needed funds for a very worthwhile charity - The Youth Cancer Trust.

THE 2008 3 PEAK CHALLENGE ITINERAY:

PEAK 1. BEN NEVIS - 4406 ft - 2pm Sat 21st June challenge begins!! At 9pm begin 8 hour drive to Scafell Pike.....

PEAK 2. SCAFELL PIKE - 3205 ft - 2am Sun 22nd June ascent begins, around 6am, start 5 hours drive to Mount Snowdon....

PEAK 3. MOUNT SNOWDON - 3560 ft -  12pm ascent begins

FINISH 2PM SUNDAY 22ND JUNE = A WHOPPING 24 HOURS AND 11,171 FT OF CLIMBING LATER!!!!
