UPDATE - We did it!!! Whoop Whoop!!!
Thanks so much for all your support and donations - in total the whole team have managed to raise just under £4000, a fantastic effort and well worth the blisters, knee pain and sleepless hours.
This page will remain open for donations for another couple of months, so please do still feel free to give :)
Thanks for visiting our fundraising page
Over the weekend of 25th-26th July, a brave team of people are attempting to reach the summit of the three highest peaks in England (Scafell Pike 978m), Scotland (Ben Nevis 1344m) and Wales (Snowdon 1085m) in under 24 hours. This challenge isn't for the faint hearted - relentless slogging, sleep deprevation and exhaustion will all factor. The distance walked is around 25 miles, the height climbed is around 10,000ft and the distance covered between the mountains is some 450 miles - normally via car or minibus.
As every great challenge needs a great cause, all money raised will be given to Partners Relief & Development UK, a charity which provides aid and support to the people of Burma - particularly the internally displaced and refugees who are now living in poverty having fled the brutal military regime. The scope of their work is vast and some of the challengers have witnessed first hand, on the Thai-Burma border, the great work that this charity does.
