On May 23rd 2009 an elite bunch of highly trained *ahem* UK interns will be attempting the highly regarded and feared 3 Peaks Challenge.
The 3 Peaks Challenge has a few simple ingredients. Throw in 10,000 feet of climbing, 500 miles of driving and a time limit of 24 hours and you're halfway there. Then add 14 placement students, numerous crates of Red Bull and a handful of determination. Season with agony/blisters/rain/snow as appropriate.
Over the last 8 months at HP our biggest challenge in life has been waking up at 7am for work. This will absolutely destroy us. We will be physically and mentally ruined. But it's worth it. For one very important cause:

Every child deserves a happy childhood. Action for Children believe all young people have unique potential and that they should have the support and opportunities they need to reach it. They help nearly 170,000 children, young people and their families through nearly 450 projects across the UK.
