Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
This years mad challenge will be particularly poignant for me as I sadly lost my beautiful, lovely Mum last June to liver cancer.
Mum was a dignified and courageous fighter who did everthing she could to stay with us as long as possible. It was unbearable to see her in pain and losing so much weight but, and I know I speak for my sisters Jane & Sally too, the strength she showed us was life changing.
I for one feel Mums courage is my main driving force to carry on and make the most of what life can give, she never wasted a second and showed a smiley face to everyone always!
Mum was a keen, if slightly worried, supporter of our various challenge antics and I know would be proud of us on this one. Adrian & Andrew, my two pals joining me, are friends from a very early age who new Mum very well.
During Mums final days I felt the work from the St Peters and McMillan nurses were of great comfort and help to both me, my Dad and sisters, therefore after completing the Ashton Court walk last year I decided, that if a challenge was on the cards this year then who better to benefit. Thankfully the lads agreed and we came up with ........
“Three Times a Lady”
The challenge will entail 3 ascents of Mt Snowdon via 3 different routes, in as short time as possible i.e. one after the other!
By now I guess you're kind of aquainted with Helga, Heather and Timbolina, the alter ego's of Adrian Crawford, Andrew Crawford and Tim Fear.
Many thanks once again for taking the time to read this. Please spare some cash for a worthy cause and wish us luck.... we'll need it!
