Story

40 Miles in 24 hours

Hey guys, we're going to do the Lyke Wake Walk on the 10th of September in aid of ECPAT 'End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography and Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes'  http://www.ecpat.net/.

Through Sex tourism millions of children are been trafficked into prostitution. This has lead to a modern day 'Slave Trade', where the children from the poorest sections of the world are been used as a commodity to be bought and sold . These children are forced into child prostitution and have unimaginable cruelty and suffering forced upon them. There is an estimated 1million children under 17 working within the 'Sex Trade', in Asia alone. The scope and magnitude of the problem is horrific and there is little protection from international organizations and even encouragement from the likes of IMF for sex tourism. So charities like ECPAT need all the support they can get to help with the issue and most importantly give the support and rehabilitation to the victims of these crimes.

The walk we are going to undertake is the Lyke Wake Walk which runs from Osmotherly to Ravenscar and is 40 miles long. We are going to attempt to achieve this in 24 HOURS! or die trying.

Please donate what you can it is for a good cause.
