We made it!!! All back home safely now, missing our saddles and wondering where adventures may take us next ;-) 250 miles in which the most dangerous part didn't feel like the streets of Paris but the lanes of West Sussex.

We had a fantastic trip with amazing weather and very few hiccups along the way - save for PEPE LE PNEUS (Eleanor)

Thanks to everyone for their generosity. We will leave the page up at least until the end of May to encourage just a few more donations and, we'll get a little journal of the trip out to all our donors in the near future.

Our small team, of currently under-prepared cyclists (Jane, Andy, Ian, Gill, James and Eleanor), are aiming to cycle over 250 miles to Paris for the Easter weekend to raise funds for two charities with very personal connections - the Fieldfare Trust and its Challenge (www.fieldfare.org.uk and www.fieldfarekielderchallenge.org.uk)  and Breakthrough Breast Cancer (www.breakthrough.org.uk).

We are funding the whole trip ourselves and will be camping en route in a desperate attempt not to enjoy ourselves. So, any amount  you can donate, however small, will be certain of going directly to the charities which we are supporting.
