I am cycling from Cherbourg to Paris from 24th to 30th May this year in support of Help for Heroes. In all we will cover over 350 miles in  six days.  The sponsored ride will take in the D-Day beaches and is timed to fit in with  the D-Day remembrance this year.   

Help for Heroes  helps fund the rehabilitation and support of the returning wounded. Their ranks are still growing. Many of us will know families and friends who have been touched by the current conflicts. Young men and women are being asked to pay a high price by their country. This is a great charity and well-named.   

A number  of those who have benefited from its work will be taking part in the ride. For some of them it will be a far greater challenge than it is for me.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and  secure. If you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
