As a result of winning selection in May 2007 to represent England & Great Britain at two different sports - shooting and triathlon - I have now competed in FIVE international events plus ONE non-international event in just over three months!

My aim was to use participation in these SIX events to raise money for the Youth Sports Trust. I feel very strongly that youngsters should have the opportunity to participate in sport and that's why I've chosen this charity!

So having now completed all SIX events (see below) I'm asking for final sponsorship from individuals or companies before the end of November - please give generously!

Competition Schedule & Results

International Event 1 (24 June 2007) European Triathlon Long Course Championships, Belgium (2 mile swim + 50 mile bike + 12 mile run)

Official Time Achieved: 4 hrs 59 mins 10 secs

International Event 2 (1 July 2007) European Triathlon Olympic Distance, Denmark (1 mile swim + 25 mile bike + 6 mile run)

Official Time Achieved: 2 hrs 22 mins 35 secs

International Event 3 (11 August 2007) Home International Olympic Skeet Shooting (clays), Wales (England v Wales v Scotland v Northern Ireland v Ireland)                     

Official Result: England won Gold

Non-International Event 4 (19 August 2007) Ironman UK Triathlon, Sherborne, Dorset, England (2.4 mile swim + 112 mile bike - yes, 112! + 26.2 mile run - probably the most gruelling of all athletic events!

Official Time Achieved: 12 hrs 5 mins 41 secs

International Event 5 (2 September 2007) World Championships Triathlon Sprint, Germany (750 metre swim + 14 mile bike + 3 mile run)

Official Time Achieved: 1 hr 17 mins 55 secs

International Event 6 (29-30 September 2007) European Commonwealth Olympic Skeet Shooting (clays), Jersey (England v 10 countries)

Official Result: England Won Gold
