14th April 2008 UPDATE Well its hard to believe but i made it, a bit wet and got the medal and t shirt to prove it !! a time of around 5 hours and 23 mins was my finish time however official results are out on Thursday. It was a great day and highly recommended !!, a couple of blisters and a few lost pounds to show for the day (that bit i dont mind)

I would like to say a big thanks to everyone who made a donation. i raised more than last year and i was amazed at the generous donations made. i am getting in the last of the donations and will be writing to everyone to let you know the winner of the raffle !!

This is the first of my runs of the year 4hope. In total there will be four and the last one will be New York in November 08

I ask that you make a donation and be patient if I ask again in a few months time for another donation. Please don’t feel obliged but if you can no matter how small it will be really appreciated.

Hope House is, just like all hospices no matter where they are in the country always short of finances and each needs millions of pounds per year to just survive.

We are all very unlikely to need to use such facilities however for many people they become a way of life and no matter how short the experience parents have these memories with them forever.

Your donation will make that experience maybe just a little easier to bear.
