As many of you are aware my sister Lois, sadly died on the 17th March this year.  I wanted to do something in her memory, so am cycling 1000 miles up through the UK from Lands End to John O Groats in September.

Lois had ME/CFS since her teens, so I will be raising money for ME Research UK, a national charity funding biomedical research into ME/CFS. 

ME Research UK is a charity with the principal aim of commissioning and funding biomedical investigation into the causes, consequences and treatment of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. This is a debilitating illness which affects between 120,000 and 240,000 people in the UK, but which is not well understood nor, in many cases, properly recognised.
