Story
I DID IT..... the ride was great: really challenging but very enjoyable. There were some tough bits and there were some tougher bits - but the training I had done beforehand held me in good stead and so I managed it all, without any aches in my legs, hands or anywhere else!!
It was an emotional journey for me; not least because day one was our wedding anniversary, but also because I undertook this challenge in honour of the life and love that Terry and I shared, so it was very important to me that I achieved it.
There was no doubt that Terry was with me all the way, not only in my heart but also on our t-shirts, as the family photo taken at the Eiffel Tower shows.
I'd like to say a big THANK YOU for your support and very kind sponsorship; it is very much appreciated. I have been really touched and amazed by peoples generosity and thoughtfulness. With the gift aid and sponsorship, over £2,000 will go towards Terry's Angel Rose Tribute fund to be used towards research into a cure for arthritis.
