8 teams, 40 players, 1 Goal - to raise money for The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.

UPDATE: A fantastic tournament keenly contested produced some excellent football from all teams. However they could only be 1 winner and the 2 part trophy was presented to the winning captain Paul Gardner and his team:Allan Metters,  Young Kev,David Gardner and Victor Nwosu.Runners up in a close fought finale were Richard Bakers team comprising of Mark" the cat" Lawson,Gareth Wills,Dave "carnage" Carney and George Wickstead.

The Golden Boot Award for top scorer in the competition was shared by Tony Dunn and Gareth Wills- 6 goals each.

To all the lads who turned up , sincere thanks for your fantastic support to this great cause. To everyone who did not play and have donated,we all really appreciate your generosity.

As we ran out of time, the raffle for the signed ball will take place next weekend. In the meantime I have updated the photos (did anyone get a photo of the winning team  - I forgot in all the excitement- apologies) and I am currently editing the video so that it gets a PG rating rather than the uncut "18"

Thanks again,

Steve
