As you can see from the photos we made it to the top of all five peaks and home again, and managed to do so in 17:30hrs, very tiring, but a worthwhile achievement that won't be forgotten for some time. As you can see from the photos the weather was quite changeable, with quite a large amount of snow on Ben Macdui.

The challenge was :

There are nine >4000ft peaks in Britain. Five of these mighty mountains are in the Cairngorms, which are five out of the six highest mountains in Britain.

We will be climbing the five >4000ft peaks on the 26 June 2010, walking 38 kilometres, climbing over 2500 metres within 24 hours. We estimate a total walking time of 17 hours (weather dependent), commencing walking at around 5am and finishing around 10pm.

Climbing the following peaks:

Cairngorm 1245m
Ben Macdui 1309m
Cairn Toul 1291m
Sgor an Lochain Uaine
(Angels Peak) 1258m
Braeriach 1296m
