NEWSFLASH 3 - The Spanish section is completed. Turned out to be just over 300 miles and finished yesterday in Toledo just south of Madrid. Some strong headwinds and big hills but a great full on ride.
NEWSFLASH 2 - The Howgill Hammer is completed. Took about 7 hours. Hard and hilly. One down four to go in the 5 ride challenge.
NEWSFLASH 1: There is a mention of the 5 Ride challenge on the charity's homepage at www.rtu.org.uk
There are 5 events in recognition of Plumbs being 50 years old this year - so one event per decade.
