WE ARE RAISING MONEY FOR: 

Police Care UK: Police Care UK makes sure both serving and former police officers who suffer harm, and their families, have someone to when things get tough. We provide practical, emotional, and financial support that is confidential, independent and accessible.Our mission is to reduce the impact of harm on police and their families. We do this by ensuring everyone is aware of the harm police experience, enable people to recover and rebuild their lives, and engage with the police service to do all they can to reduce or prevent harm.

WHO ARE WE:

We are: No 600 (City of London) Squadron of the Royal Air Force Reserves (600SQN) is the oldest RAF Reserve Squadron in the UK. It was formed in 1925 and has a rich prestigious past with many battle honours which include the Battle of Britain in 1940. 

2020 will be the tenth year the Squadron has organised and/or taken part in events to raise money for good causes. The total amount raised from 2011 to present day can be found using the hyperlink below:

WHY ARE WE RAISING MONEY FOR POLICE CARE:

As a Military Reserves Unit out personnel come from all walks of life. We have chosen to support Police Care as the police provide an indispensable service to the UK and Police Care support them and their families.

OUR EVENT:

The Vitality Big Half is London's community running festival.

This one-day event offers a host of running distances, from a challenging half marathon to a free one-mile course, as well as a family-friendly festival of food, music and activities.

600SQN, the City of London Squadron, are immensely proud to be taking part in this prestigious event in our City, London.
