The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, we're doing whatever it takes to help more people with cancer get the best care the UK has to offer, whoever and wherever they are. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

The formation of No: 600 (City of London) Squadron, RAF Reserves (600SQN) took place on the 14th October 1925 at RAF Northolt.

The 90th Anniversary of 600SQN was on 14th October 2015.

600SQN personnel will be organising/taking part in a number of events during the 90th Anniversary (14 Oct 2015 to 13 Oct 2016) to raise money for our chosen charities.

This 2016 London Marathon run by Kate Tripp in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support is one of those events.

Why is Kate Supporting Macmillan?

In 2003, Kate was battling with Cancer and received a great deal of support from Macmillan. This why Kate supported Macmillan for this event, and has raised money for Macmillan in all her many running events since being in remission.
