This challenge was inspired. By people who challenge cancer and beat it. And by those who fought bravely but had life stolen away from them.

We all know someone who has suffered from cancer.

As a journalist I have been privileged to meet so many people who have fought it. The courage of each and every sufferer is incredible to behold, and I am humbled by their strength.

Walking the 630 miles of the South West Coastal Path is but a small effort, a tiny token. I simply want to help in my own way, and trust that you will be there with me in your generous contributions.
