February 22, 2010 is World Thinking Day and we would like to raise as much money as possible for the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS).  Since the head office of WAGGGS is located in London, England, all monies donated will be in Great British Pounds (GBP).  Here is a quick conversion chart:

Here is a quick conversion as of February 8, 2010.
£60.00 = $100.00 CAD
£  2.95 = $    5.00 CAD
£  5.90 = $  10.00 CAD
£11.80 = $  20.00 CAD

Some of this money has gone to help other girls our age in Haiti.  At our Thinking Day meeting, we will be learning about Girl Guides in Haiti, how they are similar to our unit, and how they differ.

Girl Guides in Haiti was established in 1942 and they are part of the Western Hemisphere Region.
