Hi,

We're students from Yeshivat Hakotel and our mission is to raise money for Yad Ezra V'Shulamit.

34 Yeshivat Hakotel and ≈40 Yeshivat Har Etzion students from England, America and South Africa will be learning Torah for 70 hours during the week starting Friday 19th February and ending Friday 26th February. We want you to sponsor us.

Almost 1 in 3 children in Israel is living below the poverty line and many families can't afford to buy food for Shabbat.

Donate and improve the lives of many. Every little counts is  greatly appreciated.

The Hakotel talmidim currently committed to learning the 70-hour week are:

  1. David Baruch, Akiva Buckman, Josh Fink, Gadi Fisher, Ryan Fiter, Michael Freedman (84 hours), Benjie Freiling, Yosef Ginsburg, Rafi Golding, Ilan Griboff, Nachum Gruszczynski, Gabi Horwitz, Alex Kahgan, Daniel Rose, Rafi Rosenberg, Jeremy Segal, Josh Shaw, Ariel Shemen, Azari Schumacher, Jeremy Sykes, David Taber, Eytan Veres, Zach Daitch, Ari Friedman, Michael Heino, Ariel Hochster, Shaya Katz (84 hours), Ariel Mazer, Zack Perlitsh, Korey Pressburger, Adam Simkin, Eliezer Steinbock, Yoel Kenningsberg, Jonny Caller

Here's some information about Yad Ezra V'Shulamit. For more information about this worthy cause visit: yadezra.net.

The Yad Ezra V'Shulamit Organization was established and in Jerusalem where it has been functioning for more than a decade.

The workers and volunteers work towards the goal of the organization: to ease the suffering of families of orphans, widows, single parent families, large families, etc.

Each week the organization distributes over 2500 food packages at various distribution points throughout the country (including 1000 packages within Jerusalem). During the holiday season, almost ten thousand (10,000 !!) packages are distributed.

Yad Ezra V'Shulamit operates soup kitchens throughout the country.

There are at present over 500 volunteers active in the organization.

-------

We're going to do our best to reach the goal of 70 hours per individual. Not every minute of every hour will be spent learning but we're all going to try our hardest to waste as little time as possible. Your money is going to a very worthy cause.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Donations of any size will be so greatly appreciated.
