Story

DHL BOEING 757 WHEELCHAIR TOW!
In aid of the British Disabled Flying Association

We did it! Despite wind and rain, we pulled that 757 into the record books! Weighing 65 tonnes including fuel, our wheelchair team reached deep, and made all 100 amazing metres. There's still time for you to reach deep too - our fundraising target is getting close but we're not there yet.

Please help us to help disabled people share the joy of flight.

Using the gift of flight, the BDFA changes the lives of disabled and terminally ill adults and children stimulating hope for the future.  At the controls of a specially adapted aircraft, disabled people experience empowerment and self belief with lasting effects.  The BDFA works with everyone whether they have a mobility impairment, sensory impairment, learning disability and those with terminal disease.  The BDFA also provides flying experiences for other British charities and injured military personnel.

The BDFA is currently underfunded and struggling to meet demand.
