The money raised by the bike ride will go to East Kent Hospitals Charity and will be divided between the cancer unit on Cathedral Ward and the Odyssey scheme which enables cancer sufferers to meet up with other people suffering from the same illnesses and undergoing the same treatments. Odyssey enables them to take on challenges such as abseiling and rock climbing and allows them to confront their fears.
