Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The challenge - http://www.seven-hills.org.uk

The cause - http://prostatecanceruk.org

My dad was disgnosed with prostate cancer 12 years ago and has been victim and victor ever since.  Prostate cancer is the most common cancer for men in the UK - if you know any men (and I bet you do), then it will almost certainly touch your life at some point or other.

With the right detection, treatment and positive attitude my dad has shown how survivable this can be, but it's essential to get checked early and often, so even if you don't donate to this page today, at least bear in mind the idea of speaking to your doctor about this issue.  Dad had no symptoms, and he was diagnosed during tests for another thing altogether.

Go on, talk to your doctor. It'll be fun; you can use words like bum, knob and balls and your doctor can't even give you a row.

See more here...>

Cheers,

Lee
