80 Miles for Action Duchenne · 3 September 2008

Action Duchenne exists to support, empower and equip every DMD community in their journey from diagnosis and beyond.

Story

Please support us in our fundraising for Action Duchenne.

We will be doing an 80 mile cycle ride in one day.

Starting off at Dolby Forest doing 24 miles through and round Dolby Forest then over the North Yorkshire Moors and head to Whitby.  A combined total of 80 miles in one day through and over, very rough terrain.  We decided to do this after we saw the story of Garys little boy Jamie Parkinson in the Hull Daily Mail and on Look North.  We all agreed what a fantastic cause this is. By sponsoring us you will be helping us to make a difference to Jamie and boys like him who have duchenne. Medical research is making significant advances and there is hope that a treatment will be found, so your money really will make a difference.

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
