Who said...Spandex was dead, should pads should be small and BIG hair was uncool?!?!?! The 80s are alive and kicking in all of us! There is no point in trying to deny it, we all love a good puff ball skirt and some tight gym shorts - don't resist it, embrace it! Chunk, check your Flux Capacitor and embrace your inner 80s!
Yes, Andy Davenport and Ken Brown (both from Maxim Recovery and errrrrrrm brothers with a different surname ... apparently it's a long story which none of us have ever actually heard) and Amy "why the hell did I let Kev 'I'm such a nice guy but no one knows the real me' Brown talk me into this" Oakley (Henry Boot) will be reliving some 80s magic on stage for this year's S Factor. Get ready to rock and witness some amazing mullet action.
With about 15 sons and daughters between them (I don't think that's a joke is it? Plus that's ignoring Kev's donations to the Swiss sperm back 5 years ago so the figure could, in reality, be much higher - we have no way of knowing) ... the 80s Recovery team are, like so many of us mums and dads, regular users of Sheffield's Children's Hospital and recognise and appreciate the amazing work the hospital does. To continue to do this, the hospital needs more investment. Andy is particularly keen in pursuing his "80s only" hospital radio station for the kids but we're pretty sure that this hasn't received board approval yet nor is there any scientific proof to back up his assertions that "80s music heals".
