Story
At the crack of dawn on Saturday 22 August, we will be putting our boots on in Skipton and setting off on an epic walk of over 100km through the spectacular and very hilly countryside of the Yorkshire Dales, hoping that all of our 8 feet will arrive back in Skipton intact by lunchtime on Sunday.
Our minimum fundraising target is £1500 – but we want to raise much more than that! – and apart from a very small cut that goes to JustGiving to cover the costs of providing this service, every penny raised goes towards the fantastic work that Oxfam does for people in need around the world, because we have already paid our entry fee, which covers the costs of organising the walk.
You can follow us with live tracking as we make our way round the course, just go to www.oxfam.org.uk/trailtrekker and follow the links from there. Or if you're free that weekend, why not offer to volunteer on one of the checkpoints, or just come along and cheer the walkers on!
