We provide specialist end-of-life care, and a wide range of support services, to over 1,200 people who are living with a life-limiting illness in the Wigan Borough. Many patients are cared for in their own homes, although we also care for people living in care homes and in our In-Patient Unit.

Why are we doing this?

We are doing the winter 9000ft challenge to raise money for Wigan and Leigh Hospice, who provide invaluable care for anyone suffering for the blight of cancer. Please help us to raise as much money as possible to help those less fortunate than ourselves. Every single penny we raise will go directly to Wigan and Leigh Hospice. Nobody can predict when they will need the invaluable services provided by a hospice of this sort. Cancer does not discriminate between a baby and a pensioner – neither do we! That is why it is so important to make sure these institutions have sufficient funding to carry out their priceless tasks. This hospice is funded by voluntary contributions only, so your donation will be greatly appreciated.
