<p>We are 6 RAF personnel who will undertake the DANCON march on 29 April 2012 in Camp Bastion, here in Afghanistan. We will participate in the 25 KM march carrying our weapons and 22 extra Lbs and aim to complete this challenge as a team.</p>
<p>DANCON is short for <a title="Dancon" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dancon">Danish Contingent</a> and the <a title="Marching" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marching">march</a> has been a <a title="Tradition" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tradition">tradition</a> with the <a title="Danish Defence" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danish_Defence">Danish Defence</a> since <a title="1972" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1972">1972</a> when the <a title="Royal Danish Army" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Danish_Army">Royal Danish Army</a> was deployed on <a title="Cyprus" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyprus">Cyprus</a>. The march invites foreign troops, allied with <a title="Denmark" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denmark">Denmark</a>, to participate in the 25 or 100 km march. Marches have taken place in <a title="Kosovo" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kosovo">Kosovo</a>, <a title="Iraq" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraq">Iraq</a>, <a title="Afghanistan" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Afghanistan">Afghanistan</a>, <a title="Lebanon" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lebanon">Lebanon</a> and the <a title="Gulf of Aden" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulf_of_Aden">Gulf of Aden</a>.</p>
