The march will be starting from Goathland, North Yorkshire, at 2300 on the 11 of November (11/11/2011), via Guisborough, Swainby, Yarm and will be finishing at the </span><span style="font-size: 11pt; color: black; font-family: Arial;">Middlesbrough Cenotaph where a wreath will be laid at 1100 on Remembrance Sunday. The march will be completed within 36 hours with full military kit weighing 55lbs plus food and water,</span><span style="font-size: 11pt; color: navy; font-family: Arial;"> </span><span style="font-size: 11pt; color: black; font-family: Arial;">which is the standard patrol weight for a soldier, with only a safety vehicle en-route in case of emergency.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; color: black; font-family: Arial;"> </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; color: black; font-family: Arial;">I have chosen this route as I am a Middlesbrough born lad and attend the remembrance parade in Middlesbrough when I am in the country, which hasn&rsquo;t been a lot over the last few years. </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; color: black; font-family: Arial;"> </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; color: black; font-family: Arial;">As you can appreciate the British Legion have been helping out our men and women for 90 years, thus I thought this would be a good time for me to do something to give back to them for all they do. Yarm:<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>Remaining on the A67 through Yarm along the Highstreet, aiming to be in Yarm at approx 1630 hours.
