We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I have decided to finally do my bit for charity, and what a worthwhile cause this is.

I, along with Dean Evans, Anthony Crick and Paul Martin will be travelling the length and bredth of the country visiting all 92 League Clubs in 92 hours. This event will be kicking off on the 20th May 2009. I will be collecting donated items from the clubs on the way and have a photo outside each ground to prove that we have been there.

All the items donated will then be auctioned off and all proceeds going to Cancer Research UK.

My own personal reason for doing this is that I lost my mother from Cancer back in June'02. Massive blow it was for me and the family, especially my father who lost his life partner after 30+ years of marriage.

Aswell as having a brand new Vauxhall Insignia Sports Tourer donated to us for the trip, the PR Agency that has taken this on (www.cowpr.com) has now confirmed with me that a photoshoot with QPR has now been confirmed for 25th April 2009 at Loftus Road at 1pm.

The Agency are still working on the national newspapers, and are also exploring the possibility of Sky Sports News and Soccer AM.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

Best Regards

Stephen Howe
