We did it! We were blessed with glorious weather and had a great day. Thanks so much to everyone who's supported us - donations are still gratefully accepted! Photos will be uploaded soon...

On 9th September 2009 (9.9.9), we're going to climb the beautiful 999-metre mountain Glyder Fawr in Snowdonia.
We're raising money for the Msamala Sustainable Energy Project in Malawi - a Concern Universal initiative that supports fuel efficient stoves, sustainable woodfuel management, and solar power in schools in one of the poorest countries in the world.
We're also hoping to make a point about climate change, with a big '9.9.9 Climate Emergency!' banner. Each of us doing the walk is making a personal '10:10' pledge (to reduce our carbon footprint by 10% by 10.10.10) and we're making this walk as low-carbon as possible, by travelling using public transport.
Please support us and donate towards the Msamala Sustainable Energy Project! And please also join us in making a '10:10' carbon reduction pledge. You can calculate your carbon footprint here: http://actonco2.direct.gov.uk/index.html; and sign up to 10:10 here: http://www.1010uk.org/.
THANK YOU!
Ellie, Clare, Katie G, Kis Choba, Alex - and Jenny, Ruth, and baby Iolo, who joined us for part of it
