99 Miles For Break · 26 May 2007

No young person should feel alone. At Break, we support young people in, around and beyond care. Through fostering, homes, mentoring and wellbeing support. We help build confidence, create strong relationships, and will always be there with lifelong support and love. Put simply, we care differently.

Story

Hello,

This is a page set up to donate money to BREAK.

BREAK Charity has been supporting children, adults and families with special care needs since 1968.  From the charity itself:

"Our range of services include supported holidays, short breaks, respite care and day care support for people with learning disabilities; self catering holiday chalets, homes for children, care and rehabilitation services for women with mental health needs and assessments for families in crisis. "

In order to raise money for the charity, four of us have decided to walk the entire Norfolk Coastline.  The route we plan to take is 99 miles in length - so please support our '99 Miles for BREAK'.  We will take 5 days to complete the walk, which will take us from Walpole Cross Keys (on the Linconshire border, just west of King's Lynn) to Hopton (on the border between Norfolk and Suffolk, just south of Great Yarmouth).  This is quite a challenge and will work out at walking 20 miles a day, with a combined walking time of 24 hours.  The walk is scheduled to take place in the first week of July, starting on Sunday 1st.

We have the full support of the charity and kindly ask you to support us and help raise money for this very worthy charity.

Thank you!

Dan, Tim, Rupes and Sam.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: BREAK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
