At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I wanted to take part in this event to raise money for a great cause, the Alzheimer's Society. My gran is 95 this year, and has lived with alzheimers for a number of years, so this is a charity that matters to me.

Unfortunately many more of us will experience alzheimers too at some point in our lives. In fact, there are currently 800,000 people with dementia in the UK with numbers set to rise to one million by 2021.

So please dig deep and give me a reason to complete this challenge!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks for making a difference.
