<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>My visit to Ndhiwa, Kenya in October 2011 was, without wanting to sound cheesy, a life changing experience. I met some of the most friendly, generous and warm people ever even though they had so little to give. If they can be generous then we really have NO excuse.</p> <p>Team Kenya makes sure that every penny you donate goes exactly where it should, not spent on UK wages and TV adverts!</p> <p>Just &pound;1 buys a pack of Padi Bora (reuseable sanitary towels) that lasts a year giving women and girls the freedom to do whatever they need to&nbsp; regardless of what day of the month it is, something I know we take for granted.</p> <p>&pound;5 buys a school desk. Even the classrooms that have the luxury of&nbsp; concrete floors are often terribly under funished. Children (some as old as 18) are fitting 3 or 4 to a desk that is designed for 2.
