A Team Abseil · 18 November 2012

St Peter's is a busy urban church in Furze Platt, Maidenhead engaged with people of all ages in our local community. We are looking to raise £85,000 in 2011/12 to complete the funds to build a New Church Centre - part of our plan to expand the community facilities and activities we offer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the Abseil A Team's JustGiving page.

The St Peter's A Team are taking a very small step off a very high building to raise money for two great projects. On 10th May 2014 they will abseil 418 feet down the tallest permanent abseil tower in the world (at the National Lift Tower in Northampton). All money raised will be split 50/50 between St Peter's Open Church Project and supporting staff and children at the Manuelito Children's Home in Honduras - which a team from St Peter's visited at Easter 2013 and will be visiting again Easter 2015. Please note that although the page is in my (Mark's) name, it's actually the page for the whole team... so please support all four of us as we take on this challenge. Thanks!
