'ABP A-roving' is one of seven teams from Associated British Ports, the UK's leading ports operator, taking part in the 24 Peaks Challenge.

The 24 Peaks Challenge is one of the most demanding mountain walking events devised as a charity challenge. It's a tough physical challenge set in a stunning location, the heart of the Lake District. The challenge is to walk up 24 peaks, each one over 2,400 feet, in 24 hours total walking time. The route includes many of the more famous peaks such as Red Pike, Scafell Pike, Helvellyn and Great Gable.

It is an incredibly difficult challenge but we're doing it for a very worth cause, Seafarers UK.

Seafarers UK is a national charity that fundraises and gives grants to organisations that help serving or ex-serving seafarers from the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Merchant Navy or fishing fleets, and their families.
