<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; mso-layout-grid-align: none;"><span style="font-family: Arial; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: small;">During 2012 Associated British Ports are organising a year of events celebrating the first 100 years of the Port and Town of Immingham.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>To secure a lasting legacy of this year and to allow us to look forward to supporting our community as we move into our next century of development, we have set up a legacy fund.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The monies raised during the year will be donated to provide sustainable funding for future community projects. We are working with two partners, Immingham OneVoice and Oasis Academy Immingham.</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; mso-layout-grid-align: none;"><span style="font-family: Arial; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: small;">Immingham OneVoice is a community engagement group which acts as a platform for a number of smaller community initiatives in Immingham and the surrounding area.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>OneVoice has for example been the driver behind the development of the new ImmSpiration skate park opened earlier this month, but also provides support funding to small community projects. </span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Arial; mso-bidi-font-size: 11.0pt; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: small;">To help raise money for the legacy our team (Peter, Liz, Rebekah, David, Andrew, Kenton, Will and Mhairi) is aiming to complete the <strong>Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge</strong>, to be held on 29 June. This demanding challenge involves climbing the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in under 12 hours and consists of over 5000 feet of ascent during 25 gruelling miles.</span></span></p>
