Story

My aunt Donna was diagnosed with Cystic Fybrosis when she was 14. She lived as vigorous a life as her condition allowed. She worked as an EMT and an elementary school teacher.  However, Donna said no when her boyfriend asked her to marry him, because she knew her life expectancy was so short. Indeed, she passed away in her early 30s.  It's been over 20 years since she died and I still have her brass bed which I would polish for her as my Christmas present to her when I was a kid.

I like cycling. I enjoy the company of the people I'll be doing this ride with, and I'm getting to fund-raise for charities like the UK's Cystic Fibrosis Trust. I certainly appreciate your help reaching the modest goal of £200 for this ride.

This is my first time using "JustGiving".  It's officially supported by the Capital to Coast folks, and has a good reputation in this space.  The following is sample text they've provided.
