Heal · 7 August 2012

Heal is committed to providing shelter, support, education and healthcare for needy children and is involved in a number of projects caring for orphaned children in India.

Story

On 15 September, 2012, thirteen of Air Charter Service’s fittest athletes will take part in the Great River Race, when they will take to the Thames to row a staggering 21 miles.

Last year we managed to raise £3168 for HEAL, a UK registered charity, who are building a school and home for orphaned and disadvantaged children in Andhra Pradesh, India.   This money went towards the I.T. classroom which we have now fully funded.    This year we want to smash that amount and raise £5000 towards a library.

As ACS will match what staff raise during the Great River Race, they will donate the equivalent equally between London Air Ambulance and Cancer Research.

So please dig deep and support the amazing efforts of the ACS crew “ACS No Plane No Gain”:  Christine Echeverria, Nakita Ogugua, Nicklas Danko, Oli Stravrakakis, Brendan Toomey, Joe Gallimore, Joel Fenn, Chris Mansell, Ben Dinsdale, James Clark, Ella Melhuish, Amy Irwin and Thea Goalen.
