I am going to swim the equivalent of the English Channel to raise money for ADVANCE. It is 21 miles and this means I have to swim 1344 lengths in a full size pool, I am way to scaredy to go in the actual Channel! I have set myself a target of completing this in less than 10 weeks. The Charing Cross Sports Centre in Hammersmith have kindly agreed to allow me to use their facilities for free to complete this.  

I am raising money to try to help keep women and children safe and stop them having to live in fear of abuse, physcial and sexual assault and in some cases being killed.

Every penny you pledge makes me swim faster and even more important saves lives.

My ten week challenge starts on the 6th September 2010 and I aim to be done before 13th November 2010 so please help in any way you can. Thank you
