I was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2002 - just six months after I had passed my bike test.. When the opportunity came to take part in the first Amazon Heart UK ride (Changing Gears 2005) I jumped at the chance! Unfortunately, after my surgery I was no longer able to handle my Suzuki and I had to sell it. Since I'd always fancied a Harley-Davidson, and I needed a new bike for the ride.. it was the perfect opportunity to treat myself to a Harley-Davidson XL883! I love owning a Harley and am a proud (if not very active) member of my local HOG Chapter, Clyde Valley.
